Who All Knows About Your Card Collecting?
Who all knows that you collect cards and to what extent do they know you collect? Like do they know how much money you spend or how many cards you have or how much time you spend on message boards or how high your feedbacks are?
For me my family and some friends know about it but I don't think anyone knows to what extent I collect cards. I'm sure they don't know how much money I spend and I'm sure they don't know how many trades/sales I make.

My family and some of my friends know, as does my gf. At first she didn't understand the concept, but now she's does. She'll even help me and get stuff on ebay for me that she knows i'll like or don't have.

My immediate family knows that I collect, and that I trade online, but I kind of doubt they know how much I am into it...they know I really like cards, but they don't appreciate them the way I do, so I know they don't know how many trades I've made, and how many cards I've acquired. None of my in-person friends are into cards, so that is not applicable.

My wife and my mom. Besides that, no one else. Any type of hobbies that involve collecting items I keep on the down low.

My brother is the only one who truly knows how much I'm into cards and only because he is too. My wife and other family members know I collect them, but really have no idea how much and how much money I spend on them...no, not even my wife!
People just don't understand...don't judge me!

Same here...I'm too private, have lived in unsafe areas in the past, and I don't want to risk having someone know that I have something of value, and end up having something missing. Some may say that everyone online would know, but that's different, as most people that I interact with online live states away, and would never know where I live.

Sounds like everyone else is similar to me. I really like collecting but I don't tell everyone about it because I think that they might find the hobby in there opinion dumb, a waste of money, or something kids are suppose to do.
