If you had to pick NBA players right now, not in their prime, but right now. Who would you want as your starting lineup



Mine would be.....

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Dwyane Wade
SF: Shawn Marion
PF: Kevin Durant
C: Dwight Howard


Give me the best PG today. A great player and leader in Wade. A hustle and defender like Marion. A great scorer like Durant. And a great defender donw low and rebounder like Howard. I'd build on that.

Only problem is Marion is getting older, other than that i'm good.

Hmm Depends on if I'm building a one year thing or for the long haul...

If it's just for this year then I would pick:

PG - Steve Nash
SG - Kobe
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Brook Lopez (1 bad FT shooter on the team (duncan) is enough!)

If it's for the long haul I would like to have

PG - Deron Williams (sturdier than Paul at this point who's knee surgery will probably hurt his career in the future)
SG - Brandon Roy
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - David Lee
C - Brook Lopez

PG: Rajon Rondo - I don't need a scorer at the 1 with the rest of my lineup =)
SG: Wade - possibly the best scorer in the league, with phenomenal defense for his 6'4" frame
SF: Durant - another great scorer who'll only improve over the coming years
PF: Chris Bosh - a scorer, rebounder and blocker, all in a 6'10" player...very rare talent
C: Dwight Howard - great offense and defense - clearly the best center in the league today

Lebron would be my other option at SF.
