I'm glad the Sharks haven't made any moves aside from getting Wallin as pure defensive depth. Really wouldn't want any of the players that have been traded on their active roster

They got Stempniak, Schneider, Wolski, Morris, and Picard. I'm pretty sure most people would consider those good pick-ups....

So you care about their two trades involving Anders Eriksson and Petteri Nokelainin?

had to work today but i really like what LA did. Only traded Purcell away (who wasn't playing) and a 3rd round pick plus future considerations and they got back Modin and Halpern. Halpern is a great player up the middle for a 3rd line and modin, if healthy, is a great addition with playoff experience.

that deal wasn't for future considerations, it was for a conditional 7th rounder. no clue on the conditions though. but I agree. Very happy

yeah, just saw it was for a 7th. DL did it again. Halpern and Modin for Purcell, a 3rd and a 7th.
he did exactly what he said he would do. didn't move any roster players and added playoff experience, secondary scoring and grit. great job DL.
now I can trade my Teddy Purcell stuff.

i wonder if Murray will split up Handzus and Stoll. they have worked very well together. TM has a lot of options now. but i love our team up front...
clune, cliche and others can go back to manchester.
DL didn't get a d-man but TM has eight to work with (doughty, johnson, scuderi, o'donnell, jones, greene, drewiske, harrold) so he can go with whoever is playing well. i would have loved to see visnovsky back with the kings but overall i love what DL did. he didn't sacrifice any of the future and made the team much better.

I'm SOOOO glad we got rid of Modin. I'd take a bag of pucks for him. I'm sorry to see Torres go, but we got a 2nd round pick from it and he's an UFA at the end of the season. He's made hints in post-trade interviews that he still wants to be in Columbus and wants to resign back here.

I highly doubt he will resign in Columbus next year! Anyways, sad to see him go. Voracek needs a finisher to produce....
