Honda Classic ProAm
Got a couple sweet pics signed IP today at PGA National. The foursome with Jack Nicklaus was Dan Marino (didn't sign), Drew Brees (didn't sign) & Kenny G. (signed my pairing sheet). I got some real good pics of Marino & Brees but I don't know if they will post here due to file size. Theisman signed for everyone...

awesome stuff. i got nicklaus once, he must have signed for 400 people - an all time class act.

Yeah, I didn't figure I would be able to get Marino or Brees. There were a lot of "resellers" hanging around and it's always tough to get around those guys even if they were signing. Once I got away from the 1st tee, I got some great pics with most of the top players on tour, Els, Duval, McIlroy, Weir, Love, Snedeker, Bubba Watson, etc. They were all super nice and most of the pics of them and me were taken on the tee box by their caddies (they also signed!). I think they were all told to be extra nice because of the "Tiger thing"...
Gary Carter was there and I asked if he would sign my ROMLB. He said, "I don't sign baseballs." He was a real jerk. When he reached to sign my pairing sheet, I pulled it away and walked off. Wasn't what I would call a classy HOF'er...Last edited by lizard-jd; 03-04-2010 at 07:46 AM.

carter only signs mlb stuff with a donation to his charity. the $25 donation is small for a HOF autograph
he signs anything else for free

Good for Gary and hopefully he is really helping people out with his foundation that actually need assistance. I still didn't want him on my pairing sheet...
