Ive got some cards that i was told-came from 1961-I was told that there was 25 cards in this set-And ive got 22 of them-But do have most of the better players-Ive got Babe Ruth-Lou Gehrig-Ty Cobb-Joe Dimaggio-Rogers Hornsby-Mel Ott-Honus Wagner-Hank Greenberg-Lefty Grove-and others-I was told that this set books for $300 But im 3 cards short-But if anyone wants it-All im looking for is some newer rookies in Baseball or Football-I really need more of the Bowman Chromes-In there regular and refractord versions-Or autoed or SP low printed rookies-Or would even accept some newer unopened

From what I can find out. They are 1961 Golden Press. Complete set of 34 including the album BV $300. Would be interested in trading for them but what trade value are you putting on them and what are the #s you do have?

Great haul! It's the 1961 Sporting News set. I have the Dimaggio.

My mistake. The other guy is correct. It's the Golden Press set. Still a very nice find.
