    going under the knife

I just thought I'd let you guys know that this wednesday 3/31, I will be having my tonsils removed and I may not be online much that day and the next few days as I will probably be sleeping a lot and watching a ton of movies. I only have like 3 or 4 active trades and theyre all sent out so no worries there. For anyone in the BTP case break with me, I will either shoot tony a list or see if Sean wants to pick for me. In any case, just thought I'd let you know. Don't miss me too much if I'm off for a few days

Good luck dude. Surgery is never fun, but it happens. A word of advice: have a nice meal the night before.

Make sure you have a tub of ice cream for after the surgery.

You'll be alright dude. You'll get a nice dose of midazolam in your IV and after that, you won't care.

Then they'll probably give you a healthy administration of propofol and it will seem like 1 second went by when you wake up in the post-op area sans tonsils.

And I bet if you're a good boy and ask nicely, you might get some oxycodone as a parting gift!

Take care and have a speedy recovery!

got mine removed when I was young, after the surgery I remember I was in a room with other kids, a nurse offered some orange popscicle to us. I was ungry but I said no, was not really looking to eat a pops. 30 minutes after the kids were all vomitting.. soo remember, when you woke up, take some time and chill out, even if your ungry say no to popscicle!

thanks for all the kind words. Sean I'll probably shoot you a list at some point as I'll be sketchy at best over the next few days and I'd rather have you draft for me so Tony has less worries.

B I've already been given liquid vicodin ;) and oh my...the bottles HUGE.

Fleming - mom already has a filet mignon ready to cook up for me tomorrow. and i just had crab yesterday so I'm set i think

kostit - popsicles will be me diet for the next week. at least when i eat firecrackers, I'll puke pretty colors haha

qwas - apparently ice cream is hard to eat. popsicles were the suggested thing along with water and KOOOOOOOOL AID!

kovy - hah my kings pc would probably be split between Barrie, Chris, and Dave. That way dave could finally get a lokti auto that hes been looking for forever haha. the rest of the cards you can have though lol
