    Literally just got engaged about 20 minutes ago. My g/f was so shocked, that she didn't really know what to say. She said "Yes" after it all sank in.

    Well I hinted to her for about a month that she would have the "Best Pre-birthday" present she ever got. I waited till she went to bed, because I had the ring in my pocket, and I had a pen light with me. I layed down next to her and shined the light on the ring and asked her to marry me. She buried her head into her pillow and started to cry. She didn't say yes immediately because she was really surprised, but after a minute, she said "Yes"
