lol @ Barrie... You dont have 2 min to scan a card but have time to start a thread on it. We are at week 26 and the contest is over in a few weeks. You started this thread on a Monday at like 5pm.... Take the time to scan us up something sweet dude.

even if you make 100k, you can't afford any card you want, trust me.
after the government takes their share, remember 100k looks a lot more like 60k

No but there is cards up for grabs for the person who won the weekly contest the most times out of the 30 weeks

Firstly, yes the contest counts towards the Race for the Quad - it's top 3 members gets 1 point each. It's not a huge amount and it was supposed to get people to get more involved in the contest.
As with the main issue, like Ben and Andrew said, there are 7 days to get your entry in. And isn't it fun to show off your cards, regardless of what you think will win or if you think your card pales in comparison? To me, there's no point in collecting if you can't show it off.

I must be missing where it said that points for the quad was involved.
If i had seen it then I would have participated. Think more than just me missed it.
