Another good read!

Love reading the Beckett posters comments.
I like Panini though and am happy to see them enter the hockey card market but I do wish ITG got a license as well. UD does make some good products but has too many problems.

UD has screwed up abit lately and ITG doesn't have a license. I personally look forward to take a look at Panani but for now I will stick with what I know and trust up till now which is UD and ITG buy yes, Panani sure is starting to excite me!

I think the more, the merrier - a little competition may result in some excellent products.

Don't use that quote the staff and members make fun of me all the time for it. Sorry just had to say it. As it so true the more the merrier lol. I look forward to seeing what Panini brings to the table.

I think they should push each other to produce some excellent products. The lack of a licence forced ITG to be creative but gave UD a pass - luckily they did produce some real gems but also bored us to death with some bumbs...
I hope Panini sparks some great inovation.

Well since I only collect Shea Weber, Kjell Dahlin, and Sedin twins dual auto's I should be safe. After this year I will pair my collecting habits down to just Weber auto's and the other two so I may not need to purchase too many cards next year. I rarely ever break boxes so that isn't an issue either. If Weber gets traded then I will collect all of his cards for that year.

Personally, I think it would have been nice for ITG to get a license only because they're truly committed to hockey and it would have been fun to have seen different RC's for once, but with Panini using older brands, I dunno. None of the brands they're bringing back were popular or high end and none of them ever had desirable RC's so it's going to be weird. Sounds like I got out of the hobby just in time :-P

Agree 100% ITG is the same every year. UD always looks much nicer. No question. I'll probably stay away from panini when it comes out.
I also buy UD.
