Well just wish the boards wouldn't get into such a fight over this. In the end this award is meaningless as each site is special in it own way. I guess we just can't see that. Different strokes for different folks.

We'll keep doing our best until Monday morning, but in the end this poll is really who can get out the vote (or vote multiple times), not best community. I agree that there is no best community. There are 20 on the list and I'm glad they are all getting some recognition. Same for the blogs and video box breakers!

I have to agree with you Mike. Card companies have taken little to no recgonition of the sites that help keep their business going. Its great to see UD do SOMETHING that is in appreciation of the forums. As somebody who has seen the best and the worst of times I can say, without a doubt, SCF IS the best community out there.

is it april 5 yet, so this all ends? what a load of crap- UD tried to do something great, and unfortunately, a lot of people are looking at this as a mad grab for loot instead of truly representing the best community. I for one will be thrilled when this "contest" is over, so all the boards Im a part of quit talking about it.

As said above, each community has something unique to offer, why cant we all just enijoy them all for what they are, and not turn it into this giant fuster cluck

Well said, I fully agree with that sentiment. I mean the prizes are great, and being the best site sounds cool too. But come on, will any of this change your experience on the site? No matter what, i'm still on this site making trades and posts. This is a great site; there's no need for an award to validate that.

i tend to disagree. Ud not trying to do anything great. They are only looking to boost their company. I mean how come they not done this in the past few years. I dont' remember them doing it. To me it to coincidental that folks are being let go from UD, sales are down, etc. To me it all a pr move by them.

In theory it a great idea but I think their motive for doing it is not truly to promote the hobby but that just me. I look forward to when this whole thing blows over.
