NHL announces Tuesday's draft drawing

The pucks might not have bounced their way during the regular season, but for the teams that missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they're hoping the ping-pong balls bounce their way on Tuesday.

The NHL will host the 2010 LG NHL Draft Lottery at 8 p.m. on April 13 to set the order of selection for June's Entry Draft. The program will be televised on Versus and TSN, and streamed live on NHL.com.

The Edmonton Oilers, who finished with the fewest points in the League this season, have the best chance of winning the No. 1 pick. Since teams can move up a maximum of five spots, the only teams with a chance at gaining the top choice are the Oilers, Boston Bruins (who have Toronto's pick), Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Islanders.

The first time I tried the draft lottery simulator on Edmonton's website it said CBJ won the lottery. I think it's an omen. I'd love to see Tyler Seguin in a CBJ uniform.

Burke is saying a 40 Goal Scorer he Got in the trade ..As that what he would of got for a full season

Neither one of those two will score 40 in the NHL

Since 2000 (not counting 2005) The team with the best chance to get #1 pick have only won twice, St.Louis in 2006 and Tampa Bay in 2008.


So I would have to say that it does not look good for Edmonton

So I would have to say that it does not look good for Edmonton

and the Islanders, we had the best shot last year and won.
This year we are pulling the Chicago Black Hawks snipe of Kane and jumping from 5th to 1st like they did.
