Pittsburgh didn't bring their "C" game. Fleury did. Way too many juicy rebounds. Looked really uncomfortable and was drawn out of position a fair bit tonight. I don't think the rest of the team really played that poorly. The Sens kept Crosby in check around the net and he still had a hand in the majority of the Pens goals. I don't like the Pens whatsoever but I didn't find they played a "C" game. I think these teams are actually rather well-matched for each other. It should be a very entertaining series.

Both goalies brought their "C" game.....

The thing is, with Elliott I think it was kind of expected. He's never played in the playoffs before and to get your first start against the defending champs in their own barn has to be hard. What was surprising was the play of Fleury, who even though that stats are close I think was the worse goalie.

I thought it was a good game to watch - Elliot will learn from his mistakes and Fleury will get better - Hopefully all the Pits/Ott games are like this one....

I didn't even realize Elliott played that bad! Very close stats for both goalies. And very terrible stats indeed. I think I expected more of Fleury and perhaps that's why his performance tonight seemed much worse than Elliot's in my eyes. Ultimately though both Goalies stunk it up this evening.

    First 2 games = 2 upsets......
    Next 2 games = ?????

Well 4 for 4 with upsets tonight if you consider Detroit the favourite, which most people do, over Phoenix even though Phoenix had more points in the standings.
