By "threads" you mean the white stitching going around the collar bone or you mean the laces? Both look fine to me.

i have bought stuff from him before.

his 'authentic' jerseys are authentic jerseys, but they (or a 3rd party) does the stitching. look at the steeler jerseys, the nameplate font is a bit off.

that is why he sells individual numbers, because he sews the jerseys after purchase.

    its like those chinese knockoffs.

This isn't true anymore. The knock-off companies have started adding them. I have three jerseys I got just for auto's for $50-60 each and all are pretty dang close to authentic. They usually don't use double ply threads and they usually won't have the elbow patch re-inforced on it.
The 'neck-tatoo' NHL crest is no longer embroidered like the previous designs. I have a Mueller 07/08 Gamer I got from the team. The neck looks about the same on the inside. I'll try to get you some pics when i get home. The 4-year old Reeboks gamers definitely look like a better grade jersey than authentics do now. They just evolved from the 1st new style to the 'EDGE' now used. I prefer the old ones. I'm pretty sure yours is Authentic.

Usually, if it doesn't have the fight strap in the back, then it's considered semi-pro - kind of like my Crosby. Also, it's suppose to be the same size as what Goligoski would use come game day.

Check out that site, it has some picture comparisons of real Edge jerseys and the chinese knock-offs.

Man, I've got some digging to do. Need to go back to my LCS and take a closer look at my Crosby jersey. For sure it doesn't have a fight strap because there is a special embroidering in the back limited to only this jersey. But those stitchings I never even bothered to check. Thanks fellas.

Well now after looking at it. I'm not sure if its real or not. The "I" on Center Ice tag doesn't look right like the website says. And the Shield still doesn't look right to me.

How much did you pay for the jersey? That would be a good indication if it's real or not because a real Edge jerseys shouldn't sell for less then $250 especially one that is signed.

Less than $200. But he has a money back guarantee. I may take advantage of that.
