Given that the little twit has essentially been removed from the roster, as Jacques Martin would rather dress Mathieu Darche and let him sit on the bench the entire game than give Sergei a chance, his market is officially toast. If you look at the ongoing auctions on the Bay, not one non-Cup RC item has a single bid on it, and the completed listings are not at all better.

He really hasn't helped his hobby standing, or standing in hockey in general with the crap he's pulled. At least AK seems willing to shut up and play. Pretty much says it all when they tell him to not even bother practicing.

You got it half-right. His will to compete on most nights is non-existent. It's worse than Kovalev.

Welcome to every leaf prospect for the last 10 years Richard lol. I had steen, tlusty and stralman all 3 got traded within a calender year and stralman and tlusty have ZERO interest and steens has dropped considerably. My entire tlusty collection ( over 45 cards including the cup rc gold, ice rc /99, ultimate /99 and countless others) sold for 175 TOTAL in separate auctions. The total bv was around 2500.

Whats going to be worse is the Carey Price market once he gets traded to Phoenix ;)

Almost everybody is now anticipating Sergei to go back home. Also, whatever your name is Kostitsyn or Hasek, market is dead once you're not in the NHL highlights. Almost all players going back to their country once NHL career is over have zero hobby demand, so zero market value. Sad but reality.
