It would be possible. It has never been done before. Helmets are for the most part round so they may be harder cards to make.

Yeah...I hear you , but football did it...and football helmets are rounded.
Another collector on here said he thinks it because hockey helmets are one color. Most of the fb helmet cards are one color also.I just think it would be cool to have a hockey helmet card , a goalie helmet card would be INSANE...
...lol

FB even cut up the bars into small discs on cards. I think you could cut some flats off helmets. I'd like to see the pants done. There is a NHL crest too big for cards on them!

The helmet would be a great card.
Imagine the jock-strap card. Would anyone really want to pull that one?

jersey/stick/equipment cards are easy to produce because the players do not actually own those pieces. So the teams have the rights to do with them whatever they want.
as far as I know, the goalie masks are (for the most part) actually owned by the goalies. doubt you'll ever see those... although, prior to 00-01, I'm sure most doubted BAP would take Vezina pads and cut them up.. so, who knows..

Just hope that they don't use a road helmet or else the deluge of "waaaah it's an all-white piece" posts will commence.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
