It's Staaaal good
dont know about other canes fans but I'm welcoming and very excited about the newest Carolina Hurricane.....Jared Staal.....looks like my Staal pc will be growing twice as fast now..

I was just thinking yesterday, when I looked at your collection, if anyone on SCF collected Jared Staal. lol
I bet Eric is happy that Jared is on his team!

I'm sure that it will help with jared's development having his older brother as a mentor....and ill have to put myself on the list of jared staal collectors since he's a staal AND a hurricane

Great trade for the Canes to make! With Eric being able to mentor him, Jared will really develop into an even better player. Just imagine when they're able to play together!

I would think with Eric's montorship, Jared might benefit with his transition into the NHL.

PHX is straight dumb. you draft a guy in the 2nd round and then trade him for a 5th?

He may of been a 2nd round pick, but if a players developement has "staaled" out like Jared's has thus far you aren't going to get the same kind of draft pick back in return. Maybe Eric can really help his brother out and get him to that next level. If he can this would be a steal for the Hurricanes. I say a very safe gamble at the very least.
