Question Regarding Victory Black 09/10

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can help with this...

What's the print run for each Victory Black card?

Base and rookies.

I ask because I keep seeing eBay auctions which state #/5. Is this accurate?

I know they're pretty much a case hit and the odds of the rookies are even longer.

Anyone know?

Also, I'm assuming the Victory Update ones are different? Basically being a pack-in in UD Series 2.

Who really knows? Everyone bases those numbers on the original cards from 05/06 that WERE out of 5 and serial numbered to prove it. Since then, it's all speculation.

I am guessing about 20-30 of each.

I have a Keith Tkachuk Victory Black 09/10 and I'd be interested what the print run is as well. Let me know if you hear anything.

I've seen at least 8 DIFFERENT Kulikov ... so more then 8. That's a start, lol.

trying to say there's something when there's nothing doesn't make it appear. if it isn't printed on the face of the card or expressly stated by the manufacturer, there is no set print run.

I remember there was a certain rookie card guy on eBay, I saw 6 of his victory blacks at one time. 25 probably.

That makes most sense. I imagine there's a TON of these knocking about.

Ive seen about 15 Black Sbisa's from last year's set so its prolly around the 25-30 range.

I think there's also a difference between Series 1 (from Victory Packs) and Series 2 (from Upper Deck S2 packs).

I have yet to see a Taylor Chorney from Series 1. Series 2 guys that I was watching for seemed to have multiples on eBay all the time, when the product was new.

Theres someone on here that did the math, maybe it was redodai on his blog,
but he estiamtes theres are 45 copies of each 09-10 Victory Black cards. He based his opinion on the overall print run and did a mathemtatical breakdown.
