What do you do with base cards?
Do you collect them still or get rid of them, just keeping the high end cards?

I keep all Dwyane Wades, and normally sell Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, & Michael Jordans. Then I sell all remaining normally when I have garage sales

I build sets and trade them for soccer sets here in Europe. Never got rid of a card in my life.

All of mine that I don't keep for my PCs and sets are kept for trading/selling...I've been able to make loads of deals with base cards and low-end inserts only.

If you are looking to dump base cards, there are threads where people will pay for shipping for base stuff. I would be willing to do it with any Boston teams. I mean, you can typically fit up to like 2400 cards or more in a flat rate box and ship for like 11 bucks. That is a deal for those that collect base stuff.

You could do this...
Send me all the Boston base cards you get for shipping. If you wanted to that is... :)

I'm a set collector so collecting base cards is what I do best. I love collecting high-end cards as well, but I have OCD when it comes to getting complete sets.

I collect all the Bulls base cards and keep the base cards of Lebron, Kobe, MJ, and Durant. The other base cards I either trade/sell them as team lots, sell in bulk in a flat rate box, or make sets and try to sell the sets.

I agree. Once I start a set i have to finish it. Any High end cards that i get in box breaks are a bonus and are usually used to trade for my PC players.
I like to have the complete sets in binders, I am a bit old school like that!!
