Redemption lists.

Hi,

I have just returned after a few years of non-collecting and need some help...

I am thinking about buying a couple of boxes that are a few years old. I would like to know if there is any list with info on exactly or roughly how many redemptions cards and when they expire in each product. I´d hate to see myself pulling an awesome card on redemption that has expired.

Anyone know of such a list?

I don't know of any firm list, but I would imagine that anything from 06-07, or older, is now expired.

07-08 I'm not too sure - they're probably still good (someone else can probably give a better answer). 08-09, and obviously 09-10, would still be fine.

Yeah, i figured that, but i am also thinking about some boxes perhaps from 05-06 and 06-07, but i dont want to buy boxes where the best cards are redemptions, so thats why i need a list of what redemptions were inserted in each product...Like if crosbys or ovechkins rookie was redemption in some 05-06 product, that would probably be a no-buy today, and in 3 years you dont want to buy a product where tavares RC was a redemption etc.

I know 07-08 Sweet Shot redemptions expired in April (I got a Crosby Auto redemption 10 days before the expiration date, phew!)... so 07-08 might be on its way out as well...

07-08 Hot Prospects expired in late february.

Whats interesting is that I just pulled a redemption for a 06-07 Beehive signature scrapbook auto, and it expired 2 months AFTER 07-08 Hot Prospects redemptions. Luckily, it was Joni Pitkanen, so I didn't care :P

Since i didnt get the answer i was hoping for(but thanks all for trying), ill rephrase my question... :)

Does anyone have a list (or know where i can find one) of exactly what cards were redemptions in 05-06 Ultimate, 06-07 Ultimate, 06-07 Sweet Shot and 07-08 Sweet Shot.

Sadly UD doesn't put that type of information out on their checklists, and I haven't seen a single comprehensive list floating around anywhere.

Most of the big stars (Crosby, Ovy, etc.) were live on product release for those sets, but a quick call to UD to confirm would be your best bet.
