Odd how the refs are against the Magic and then they call this game tonight? Lol... maybe they are bi-polar since they called a horrible game tonight and took out Perkins with 2 bogus technicals? Hmmm... get out the meds!

refs were terrible tonight as well, i said that throughout the thread, i'm tired of them blowing the whistle and i'm also tired of all the crybabies on both teams, they need to man up and play some real basketball, let them play

The first T was bogus, and should be rescinded. The second T will most likely stand as he had violated several of the rules that allow a ref to assess a T.
(1) Disrespectfully addressing an official
(3) Overt actions indicating resentment to a call
(4) Use of profanity
Running tirades, continuous criticism or griping may be sufficient cause to assess a technical.
But these are the same refs that don't dictate the outcome of the game.

He was walking away and the ref was the one heated and being emotional, not Perkins. So I 110% disagree with you and I am positive today the NBA will agree.

So was Vince in the previous game. He was actually at the scorers table if I remember..... Not even in the game. That never got rescinded. And I cut/paste the rules there and Perk violated all of them and only one will get you a T. Walking away or not. I have a pretty good idea what he said and turning your back and walking away doesn't make it ok to say it. That's how Rondo got T'd later on.

Your correct, Vince never got his T taken away and just like Perkins, he was not looking or going toward the direction of the refs...

So 30 feet away in a crowd of several thousands the ref can hear? Or read lips through one's body? IMPRESSIVE.

See this is why when someone says the refs suck, you don't write them off just because it's your team that benefits. Now they're a problem. It's no worse than the T's Dwight gets or the T Vince got. Whatever the case, out of the 4 listed, Perk would've still violated 2 without even opening his mouth.
Disrespectfully addressing an official
Overt actions indicating resentment to a call

Any one get's a T - True? Then that's the end of that. Is it possible that the official actually did hear what Perkins yelled? Maybe. And it's well below 30 ft

I didn't get to watch either game because of work but if that happened, sure I agree.
