    Lidstrom has signed a one year contract to stay with the Wings. Hope he can finish his career with his 5th cup, arguably one of the best at his position of all-time.

    No information on the terms, I am sure it is a couple million less.

    I believe he took $6 million, so a $1.4 million cut I believe? Good to see him come back, bummer that the NHL lost Sakic and probably Modano, would be a big blow to lose Lidstrom as well. We need to keep the classy players in the league to counter all the pukes we are seeing these days.

    I don't think he wants that as he will enjoy live back in Europe. If he stays in the U.s I will be surprised. You never know.
