It's the roll of the dice, what if your dual was alex delvecchio/gordie howe, or bobby hull/johnny toews? I wouldn't be that disappointed in a Nystrom/Chucko if I bought a couple boxes, a whole case may hurt a bit though...

I have New Jersey in the Group break. Check out how many (or few) cards are in the set for them

More importantly, you have the Habs. :)
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I'm just pointing out how watered down this set is.
From Sign of the Times:
Last season, the worst dual was Kane/Skille, Heatley/Zubov, Brassard/Mason, Turris/Mueller, E.Staal/Ward. There were only 21 different duo's last year.
This year worsts are: Nystrom/Chucko, ColinWilson/Arnott, Salcido/Sbisa, Dumont/Weber, Boychuk/Staal, Fistric/Visnevsky(ew), Vokoun/Weiss/ Kennedy/Vaneky I could go on and on but Im holding back the vomit. There are 55 duals this year! (Probably seeded more than one per case is myguess)
No more Premier Penmanships to /50 either. Those were sweet case hits.

Not sure Id consider Vanek/Kennedy vomit worthy really...I mean I guess nobody would want it cause its not Crosby?

I'm sure plenty of people in Buffalo would want it. But the rest of the card collecting world would be sickened if this was their case hit on a $100 per box product. If I pull one, its yours

I think you've got it figured out :)
If you get a case hit, and it's not something you can flip for the cost of 3 boxes, nobody wants it.

If you get a case hit, its not numbered and you can't sell it for $20 is more what I'm thinking.

I understand what youre saying I suppose but its not like the only card youre buying to make your money back is a single case hit, especially with a product like SPA. I feel like people want every case to have a Howe/Gretzky/Orr/Ovie/Whoever auto but if they fell in every case they wouldnt be nearly as awesome as they are. Its a gamble, and you have to have somewhat lower cards to make the high end cards what they are. That being said, I know alot of people who will be looking for the Vanek/Kennedy ;)
I do however agree that some of the pairings are a bit odd. The pairing or a couple 4th line rookies will certainly scare people away

Oooh, its got a nice Neuvirth/Varlamov dual auto that wasn't in the initial PDF checklist. I'm going to be hunting for that one...
