    Cool

...Celtics won because David Stern wants more money and a 7 game series, Lakers otherwise would've already swept the series

Sometimes I wonder about that. The Lakers at times didn't seem to be all that aggressive. Kobe didn't have that toothy scowlface although he did score 33 points. On the other hand, if Stern wanted more money bad enough, there wouldn't have been any series sweeps in a bunch of the previous playoff matchups.

If Bynum is done so are the Lakers. They cant even begin to control Big Baby, he killed them with Bynum out. Series over.

Finals is where the moneys at, first round doesn't make Stern money, less cap space means teams pay more in luxury tax, that money goes to the NBA/Stern, its no suprise the ECF and WCF went 6 games each and this series will be atleast 6 games as well, yes its a conspiracy theory, but its believable in my opinion

There were some bad calls but nothing egregious. It happens in every NBA I have ever watched the referees can't keep up with the speed of the game but complaining about it is pretty pointless since it is what the NBA has become.

The refs blew the game, you can't overcome a 3 point play that was a charge, or the entire 4th quarter where a handcheck doesn't get called after being called the ENTIRE postseason, or fouls that don't get called, you just dont overcome when it happens..Celtics won because David Stern wants more money and a 7 game series, Lakers otherwise would've already swept the series

Hey, Lakers shouldnt be complaining about the refs. Celtics are too much for the Lakers without Bynum. You cant beat the Celtics with Gasol at center. Perkins is too big and Artest cant play KG or Wallace. Series over without Bynum. Dont ask the refs to bail you out because Bynum went down in a very physical series. KG is playing on one knee and Bynum cant do it anymore.

That blocking foul that was a charge against Kobe was bad, it was clear as day he was set

The problem I have with this game, actually is the inconsistency in allowance of physical plays.

At LA, apparently they didnt allow any of that, which reflects in all kinds of foul trouble everyone faced.

Then in game 3 & 4, they let all kinds of physical contacts play out.

Also, they dont let Fisher do physical plays chasing Ray Allen but let Tony Allen handcheck Kobe.

It is partly not ref's fault bc they are also human and Ray Allen do bring a lot of attention with off-ball moving and for some odd reason, Kobe always overcome handchecking by Tony Allen and knock shots down while Ray Allen doesnt always do that.

I do agree Lakers bigs were not aggressive especially Odom but when u play first two games and sort of measure ref's foul calling and become used to it, it is hard to step a notch.

On the other hand, Glen Davis played well bc of his limited playing time first two games and absence of Bynum. He did not get into a foul trouble much in two games and sort of had a "freedom" this game especially w/o Bynum.

Either way, Odom needs to play much better than Davis anyway.
This game should be embarrasing for him.

If that theory was valid then there would never be a Finals sweep. This past decade has already seen it happen twice (2001-02 Lakers and 2006-07 Spurs). There has only been one 7-game series in the past decade. Sorry Dan.

I'm talking about this season not past seasons, NBA teams and the NBA aren't doing well on the money side because the economy...2001-02 is completely different than 2009-10. Also the Spurs were light years better than the Cavs in 06-07 and the Lakers were the most dominate team in the early 2000s, that doesn't convince me abit, and i'm one who believes refs are still betting on games, just ask the 05-06 Pistons, they lost the finals because refs bet on the Spurs
