Video: Blackhawks make Roenick cry about not having ring

After the Chicago Blackhawks captured their first Stanley Cup championship since 1961 on Wednesday night, NBC hockey commentator and former Blackhawks star Jeremy Roenick(notes) couldn't contain his emotions during the postgame show with host Dan Patrick and analyst Mike Milbury.
Here's Roenick, getting teary-eyed about having never won the Stanley Cup:

I don't think it's about not winning the cup in general, but about his best chance to win it was with Chicago in '92 with the team that drafted him.

Sounds like jealousy of the new kids. No surprise he didn't hide it.
Maybe JR needs a hug from Toews. "Its ok JR its OK...please let me go now!"

i think evryone is taking this the wrong way, to me it appears he is happy becuase he can't believe chicago won it. when milbury says i never won it either- well i wonder if he would get teary had it been the boston bruins where he played and who hasnt won in ages. i think the title "sour grapes" is wrong, he says i'm crying becuase i'm happy and proud for chicago.
