lol ocho said what time he was flying to the airport here on twitter. i went there and waited by the gate. he signed 1 and took a pic with haha. rapper the game was here this past weekend and he posted he was downtown....went downtown and saw his tour bus and waited inside the hotel and he did 2 for me and a pic with. i've also talked to CD-R from the nets on there.

    i love twitter lol.

Thats really cool. I wish athletes had a reason to come to upstate NY lol, I would do the same thing you do! You dont feel weird going to the airport prepared to get autographs? Or do you play it off like you are their for a reason and you just happen to see them??

I'm friends with a lot of the younger 49ers players that still use their Facebook.

    I've chatted with..

    Ricky Watters
    LeRoy Vann
    Keaton Kristick
    Delanie Walker
    Kyle Williams
    Tony Moeaki

I talk about basketball to Dominique Zielger a lot.

Nice!!! Those are great success's. I like the player to fan connection that can be made using social media and its less mediated (granted the press takes and runs with whatever they want) but for the most part, you could have an un-edited, un-scripted conversation with an athlete about whatever you want. More personal to me.

I'm not into the "Twitter" thing, but these stories are neat. Congrats. I once read a story about Shaq twittering about a little "hole in the wall" cafe and two guys showed up to see if he was the real deal. Low and behold there he was, had lunch with them and left the waiter a 100 dollar tip for fetching him a Sprite before he left.
