question on the cup??
just curious..when i was reading the box content in the cup..it says' 4 cards per tin..2 auto patch cards..1 rookie auto..and one additional auto?? so you get 4 auto's per tin?? i did not open any before of any year..so did you get more cards in the previous years tins?? or is it about the same..not being greedy..i just wanted to make sure i was reading the ad rite..i think that's pretty good..( 4 auto's) unless i am reading it wrong??

I'm pretty sure you get 2 auto's per tin at least, 1 which will be a rookie auto patch and your other one will be an auto (sig patch/enshrinements/what not), don't think you get 4 auto's per tin. That's my understanding

UD always says there's only 4 cards per tin but unless you're getting a MONSTER sized hit, they usually put in between 5-8 cards per tin.

I'm told that this year's Cup will be more limited...but with only 4 cards per tin on average (down from 5 cards/tin as in all prior years) it's more likely they'll produce more tins than before, so you'd think it would be even more plentiful. That makes sense if UD is looking to make more profit from its highest end hockey product, and rumour has it that UD could use the dough.
On the other hand, perhaps if the base set is a lower print run, there will be less tins?
Or if the base set remains the same and the same number of tins gets produced, then we'll get less inserts/pack and less value for our money?
Hopefully they won't "water down" the Cup...which will produce a backlash amongst those who typically open it and less will get opened.
