Hey guys,
I was just wondering what really promising prospects and young players in baseball seem to be good signers as I am interested in sending out to some more young players.

Heyward and Strasburg have some scattered successes, but it's hard now with all the hype. I've currently began a huge prospect project, because my theory is that these good players seem to sign before they become big stars, so might as well send now. I got Brian Matusz on the Orioles with only about a 2 week wait. Buster Posey on the Giants signed a minor league program for me and personalized it last season. I just got Neftali Feliz back the other day after about an 8 month wait. No complaining though, he looks like a star in the making. Dustin Ackley, the 2nd overall pick last year after Strasburg is supposedly a future star with "multiple batting championships in his future". Signed and personalized my card and included 2 of his own signed and personalized cards. Madison Bumgarner used to be good, haven't seen a response in a while. Tyler Matzek and Christian Friedrich in the Rockies minor league system are great signers. Austin Jackson is a good signer. Mike Leake is decent. Kyle Drabkek is a very consistent signer. Matt Wieters and David Price are inconsistent to unreliable. Brett Anderson and Trevor Cahill both signed their 2009 topps rookie cards for me last year. Gordon Beckham is a very good signer, unfortunately is experiencing his sophomore slump. Derek Holland on the Rangers is a good signer. Elvis Andrus signed for me in about 10 months. Desmond Jennings is okay. I'm currently sending to Matzek, Drabek, Austin Jackson, Jaime Garcia, Leake, Jennings, Smoak, Domonic Brown, Starlin Castro, Ike Davis, and Mike Stanton. Any successes or failures and I'll let you know.

White really seemed to come up with a great list. He mentioned sending to Austin Jackson...he seems like a reliable signer.

Should mention that I sent to Jesus Montero about a year or more ago and nothing back yet, so I'm considering him a non-signer

Oh, I was planning on sending to him. I probably will since its only 88cents

I'm gonna give Dustin Ackley a try. Not sure if I should wait until ST or try right now while he is in the minors?

I sent to his minor league team, which i believe is listed in the database. I sent to him in like the first month of the season and received my card and his 2 cards back pretty quickly
