yeah! there is a good chance bryce harper will play for my local minor league team

i live close to the washington nationals low class A affiliate the vermont lake monsters. Its really cool and I love minor league baseball but we rarely get the highly touted prospects here as players like strasburg and other generally start out at AA or well not vermont lol. but i just read the new york penn league preview and it said if and when harper signs he could play in vermont. i know alot of people on these boards live around minor league ball and love going and so do i but i just think its cool that for once in the 14 years ive been going to game we may get a superstar prospect playing for us. cant wait! i wonder if he is a good signer?

Wow awesome man. I'd imagine he's a pretty good signer... I know he signed/signs TTM, so more than likely he'd sign at games.

i hope so. im not one to bug players much for autographs but i still like to take a ball around and get it signed by a few players so i think it would be cool to get his auto. i like low class A because the players who play there dont think they are gods gift to baseball.

you could get a ball signed. or that SI cover he was on, or his team usa cards, or the cover from when he was on beckett, or any team usa items, hopefully he plays there, but i doubt it will be long!!!

yea probably not long at all but i think it would be a good place for him to spend a season. its only a 70 game season and burlington has alot less ways for a 17 year old kid to get in trouble then some of the bigger cities that other teams are in. but im with you i would be suprised if he played here for long.

I sent him a ball when he was in high school and he sent it back signed really fast. I don't know if he is still a good signer though. I am hoping he eventually plays on the Harrisburg Senators one time when they play against the Trenton Thunder.

me too, id love to go see him play at harrisburg, and unlike strasburg, he will be there every game, and then to do some hunting to get his auto
