    Tigers TTM collection....

    Hi -

I recently bought a collection that included about 200 hand-signed Detroit Tigers autographs, as well as the remnants of a filing system, SASES, etc that leads me to believe these were obtained through the mail. They are all on baseball cards, ranging from 1960 through about 1991. There are some stars (Kaline, Trammell, Horton, etc) but also a lot of guys like Scott Lusader and Bill Scherrer. I have no experience with this kind of stuff at all. I am wondering if someone could help me out by giving me some kind of idea of what this stuff might be worth, or where to find out, and also the best way to move it along to someone who will appreciate it through sale or trade. I don't have certificates of authenticity for any of it, but I don't know why anyone would bother forging Milt Wilcox's or Barbaro Garbey's signature, and some sigs are on cards that have facsimile autographs and they look the same, so I think they're all authentic....

    Thanks for your time.

I would be interested in a few mid-seventies lower end players that I could pick up for a dollar or 2 a piece.

If you are wondering on the authenticity, send a couple out to PSA or BGS and have them authenticated.

    Nice buy though
I am interested in Glen Perkins and Glen Perkins ONLY

I understand if you do not want to trade because of my (-1) rating, but I will do my best to get everything out on time.

Thanks for the responses - I'm still trying to get a sense of what they're worth or at least how I'd go about finding that out.....

eBay is your best bet, but the commons you can get $1 to $3 depending on the players signing habits...
