Getting RCs Graded - Is it worth it???

Just wondering from those SCF members that go ahead with the grading procedure whether its really worth it.

I'm asking more specifically about cards that are redemptions from UD and are kept in the same sleeve/top loader that it gets sent in.

I've got a few RCs coming from UD (Kulemin from 08-09 artifacts + Setoguchi and Russell parallel RCs from 07-08 artifacts). I've also got a Price RC /25 from artifacts still in its sleeve from UD that I'm wondering if I should send in.

From what I know, the only time its worth it is if the card would be a 9 or higher. Otherwise, it doesn't increase the value. Is this true?

Any help would be great! :)

examine every card regardless of where it comes from. no point wasting your money if you are going to send something in right? direct from UD doesn't equate to direct BGS 9.5 or 10.

also, BGS 9.5 and higher carry a premium. in my eyes, 9.0 or lower devalues the card and you're better off not having it graded (unless you want the protection aspect the beckett holders are known to be great for).

^What he said, seems like anything below a 9.5 makes it less valuable. I would only consider sending in TRUE RCs too, no parallels.

(unless you want the protection aspect the beckett holders are known to be great for).

Only reason why my Crosby collection are getting graded.
