I thought Florida did well with their 3 picks also...but yeah - according to fan reaction, Ducks stole the show from LA especially with Etem at #29

Sadly the Sucks did well. Truly am scared about what they have. Thank god though I actually think Fowler = Mike green but worse offensively.

Yes, Florida did do extremely well, especially their #3 pick. Having all those first round picks in a draft this deep is going to really help their building process. Dale Tallon continues to get a thumbs up from me. This guy knows how to properly build a young team for the future. They've got like four picks in the next round as well.

I also like Nashville's pick (which I called the moment they started walking up). They desperately need some size and skill up front, and Watson plays a strong defensive game; which melds right into Trotz' and the entire organization's philosophy. I could see myself collecting this young man in the future.

Anaheim made out like bandits in this year's first round. Wow.

On the opposite side in Toronto...well, enjoy sitting there eating your chips while you can Burke. I hope in four years time when this team still sucks, that us Leafs fan will build a posse to come lynch you and Phil Kessel. Then we can finally get a GM that will do a PROPER FREAKING REBUILD!

Enjoy Seguin Boston fans. The Leafs just seem to love giving you quality players (we basically made the Horton deal happen too. Go us).

Have faith, my friend. Have faith. I say Seguin for Kessel straight up is a fair trade. It's the 2nd and next year's 1st rounder that's going to bite us in the bum. For the people that care but didn't watch. Burke was offered a 1st round pick for "one of his dmen" but obviously turned it down. And it wasn't Kaberle. One can only assume that player is Luke Schenn. In Burke we shall trust.

He got 3 picks, shed Horton's and Ballard contracts in 1 week...

he is going to completely shred this team before October....

they might be bad, again this season, but will be dangerous in the next couple seasons
