Am I not liked?
I post buying threads, and I get no response. Selling threads with GU and such for cheap. Nothing. I have found over 20 PC cards for less than 15 BV, all I get is "nothing i can use from your list." I have had a hard time trying to acquire the EASIEST cards. The weirdest part is I see buying threads, people post in it. My threads where I buy.. crickets. And I pay fair eBay prices. Is it very slow, or do people just not like me? I am starting to think, the second one.

Cheryl,
To me it like this. As Duane mentioned it is the slow time of the season to be dealing. Look at all the sale threads. Now onto if people like you or not. It not possible to be liked by all. So first of all do worry about that as someone or some folks will never like you. It like real life this group of hockey traders has many personalities. Some will work out trades that others won't, while others will go gaga over that deal. I can attest to that as I dealt with Duane a few times and are deals are usually larger. Of course each time he get pc items sometime higher end or unopened boxes and I get a nice lot of low to mid level cards which I can move over time. Of course some folks would be like the book value is too distorted etc.
All I say is find the folks that you enjoy trading with and nuture those relationships. Do not try to be a friend to all as it won't happen. Find a group of friends that your willing to truly help make this a enjoyable hobby. In turn you will probably be helped down the road over and over as you return the favor they play forward with you.
You had 18 trades in the last month. Looking at that number to me is not too Shabby. Also, remember a lot of time folks pass on small deals as it not worth the shipping cost. I know you had a thread that was brought up as well. Enough from me off to enjoy some r&r after a few more post before work calls.

Maybe I am just complaining a lot, I am a woman
. I know I am not afraid to speak my mind, so I do wonder if people are fed up with me. Just seems hard to get Ritola/Hudler stuff that BV 10. I try to be fair with shipping. I charge $2 worldwide.. doesn't get better than that. I am trying to be active: group breaks, secret santa. I just wish trades were easier than it seems. But it strikes me odd I post a thread asking for a bunch of stuff that almost anyone has, and I got like 3 replies. The reason I got back into this hobby was because of SCF. Just hope I find a reason to stay.

Cheryl,
If I set up at Gibraltar you can come out. I am sure we can work out some trades in person. Best of luck in finding a reason to stay. There will be some good ones and there will always be something that makes you go why am I here or in this hobby.

I want to go to Gilbalter, I may soon. But most my PC is from eBay, actually about 90%. Oh well. I will keep plugging away.

Cheryl,
I don't think it is that people dont like you, like others have said it is the slow season right now, plus you are still fairly new on the site. The longer you spend here the more people you will get to know and the more will be friendly with you. Keep at it :)

I just posted in your trading section that Ihave some interest in some of your cards...lets make a deal! It is a dead time of year and for the last year trading/selling has seem to die out a little....maybe bc of the economy or whatever. Just hang tight and it will get better. I made 4 deals the other day in one day and that is not normal for me....sometimes it just works.
