apparently lebron had dinner with pat riley sometime in november and the next day was when he announced that he was going to change his number from 23 to 6, supposedly to give respect to michael jordan.

LeBron is a competitor and the idea that he would go out on to the court and not play to the best of his ability is ridiculous. Just because you all are not fans of him and the way he handled his business doesn't mean you guys have to follow Gilbert's claims.

I hope he succeeds and wins several titles so we can put this all in the past and we can talk about how smart of a move it was for him to join Wade and Bosh.

I don't believe you were on the boards when we were all ripping LeBron after the Cavs got eliminated because we all saw he wasn't trying

Lebron clearly is not competitor. He just wants to get an easy win. He said "I don't need to score 30 points everyday now". He can easily join Bulls, join NYC, or stay with Cleveland to win over Miami. Instead, he just join the powerful house now. You think Jordan will join Piston just to win?

And besides, my understand is that, LeBron is just 25 years old. How many of us at 25 years old can really take up pressure and carry the whole city? He is just a wrong product that media is trying to build on a young star. I guess this is understandable why he quits.

Well it was proven that Cleveland wasn't a winning team in the playoffs over the last 7 years so there wasn't a good reason to stay except for staying in his home area.

With the ability to play with his friends in Miami, I think he made the best choice for an opportunity for titles.

And the reason they didnt win is because when the pressure was on, LeBron couldn't handle it, its kinda funny, whenever they show a highlight real the main highlight is a game 2 buzzer beater in the ECF, Thats his biggest highlight in 7 years, thats the kinda player he is

No one is perfect, so you can't expect him to be able to play a great game every time out. Everyone has their down times that's where his teammates need to step up their game and that didn't happen in Cleveland. I really don't see all three stars in Miami having down days on the same game, so when one doesn't bring their A game the other two can still lead the team.

LeBron in his 7 years showed up to a big game twice, the 48 point game against Detroit, and the buzzer beater against Orlando, lets face it, no one is telling him to be perfect but in 7 years he proved he is a role player when it matters most. Its a copout to say its his teammates fault. when the star struggles so does everyone else, James is a choke artist

There is a reason why there are 5 players on the floor at a time. There has to be support for even the best players. No one can win by themselves.
