Kobe meets with Raja Bell on Wednesday
Man, with Miami "ruled out" from getting Bell, this could be a HUUUGE signing for the Lakers. I really hope Kobe is able to convince him and the Lakers get this done.

The seemingly hard-to-picture prospect of Kobe Bryant and old nemesis Raja Bell playing for the same team remains alive.
The longtime rivals will sit down for a face-to-face chat Wednesday in Los Angeles to further discuss the feasibility of the Lakers signing Bell in free agency, sources close to the situation said.

I hope the Lakers can sign him as well! While Bell was in Phoenix him and Kobe had some good on court battles. I think he will be a great defensive asset to the team and provide nice 3pt shooting.

I'm also hearing that Kobe is trying to recruit Kurt Thomas along with Bell. Man, this guy doesn't rest, lol.

I think getting Bell or any other great perimeter defender is a great idea. IF the Lakers ever meet the Heat in the finals, we'd need help locking down D-Wade & LBJ. Give Kobe a break every now & then on D.

Huh...Did Kobe not Learn from the First Close Line and is after another??
, I mean Raja is a good Pickup Defensively but don't know how good is Offense is?

Why couldn't he talk to T-Mac and Matt Barnes lol. Don't get me wrong, Raja Bell is a good defensive player, but I'd rather have T-Mac or Barnes over Bell.

Nah, I would have Bell over Tmac or Barnes.
Tmac is not dedicated to defense and Barnes is a complete dirty player.
Bell is amazing on D and his 3pt shooting fits him perfectly in the triangle.
Hope we sign Bell. Kurt Thomas would be great too.
Nice backup behind Gasol, Bynum & Odom.
