Quick question for everyone....
So i went back home to Kansas City and wanted to check out the new LCS around the area. The first place I went to didn't have much hockey cards but they diid have a box full of GU/ATUOS/INSERTS. After looking through them all I came across a Brodeur Score RC..(you know the one where he is wearing a tie) and they were selling it for $1.99. I decided to purchase it and they even had another one. Was this a good deal and should I go back and get the other Brodeur RC???? Thanks for helping me out with my possible RARE find.

I would pay $2 for a Brodeur RC but I wouldnt call it a "rare" find. Solid pickup I think but those were pretty heavily produced

$2 is a decent price, but it's not exactly a rare card. You can find boxes of 90-91 score for $10-$15, and often pull 3 of them.

I'm live in KC and I only know of one card shop in the area so I'm curious to know the name of this shop and where it's located.
Also about the Brodeur RC, $2 is a fair price I'd say considering they are not rare at all. But it is Brodeur so if I saw one $2 I'd grab it. They usually go for 99 cents plus shipping on ebay.

Yeah we have a Vintage Stock here in Lees Summit. Let me know how your trip to Collectors Cache goes cause I've never heard of it. Also if you're looking for another shop to try, I'd reccomend TBJ Sports Cards. Last time I was there they had a decent selection of hockey singles. It's in Riverside but I haven't been there in a few months so I don't know if they're even open anymore...

thats cool and yeah i'm around olathe and overland park...i figure that these little places are good spots to try and pick some nice cards for cheap. I'll let ya know how this other place is (collectors cache). I know that collectors cache has packs of cards like SPx, SPGU, and SPA...and it is located in olathe on college blvd. and switzer.
