Yeah, Caracter and Ebanks are a lock for the Lakers. Those two are pretty much the replacements for Mbenga and Powell, which i think is a much better choice, they may end up as huge steals for us.

We would be stupid not to sign Caracter and Ebanks, those two have been tearing it up in the summer league.

I'm not sure how many players the Lakers would have with Lin added in with Caracter and Ebanks as well, but they NEED to sign at least Caracter and Ebanks. I heard that Powell was the godfather to Kobe's kids or something like that, but who cares, don't resign trash when you can get a nice quality low-cost guy in Caracter. Ebanks has shown that he is starting to develop a little bit of a jumpshot as well and he can't be stopped when driving. Lin has played the point very well, too. These moves would also add some youth to the Lakers, which isn't bad when you can develop young players while be a top team in the league at the same time.

it has been reported that the Warriors are close to signing Jeremy Lin, so I guess the Lakers just slept too long to give him an offer.

I'm happy that Lin is going on a team where he can get some playing time. Let's be honest, it would have taken him 2 yrs at least before he began to see some consistent minutes with the Lakers.
