What's your proposed solution? Not acknowledge any milestones for another 10-15 years until all of the players from this era are gone? Seems unfair to the clean players. Picking and choosing who you think is/was clean won't work either because you have no way of knowing. Crapping all over the players who admit using isn't in the game's best interest because that encourages secrecy and denial.
Put the best players of the era in the HOF. It was widespread enough to where there's nothing that can really be done except to move on. Let people form their own opinions and most baseball fans will know what was going on during this time even years down the road.

Well, he is getting almost no national press for the most part, and i'm happy he's getting none, he's a cheater, even if its years ago he still cheated, did alot of people do it? Yes, however atleast myself, i treat all steriod users the same, i call them cheaters who deserve no praise...if no one knew he did roids or he didnt do them at all, this would be a MUCH bigger story

One other thing, too... like other people are saying, A-Rod hitting #599 is 3rd from the top on ESPN's headlines behind a Florida recruiting scandal and freaking Dez Bryant signing his rookie contract. I would say this is the least coverage a chase for #600 has ever gotten. A-Rod is probably a sad panda because the media isn't pandering to his neediness.

Yep, most of the coverage he's getting is the fact he isn't getting any coverage (if that makes sense lol)
He got much more attention for #500 when people thought he was clean

jeter is not on roids. find one great NON HR HITTER suspected of steroids.
op theres a big difference. first off arod admitted it. in case you havent noticed, ever since mcgwire admitted to the roids, people have been talking about the possibility of him in the hof. he lied as well. at what point did arod lie?
im not getting angry, just firing back. your original post had the guy ready to be crucified .
