lol ur right, didn't think about that. what was SPGU's deal back during like last year or the year before that--I know that was loaded with GU and tons of autos...and Topps Signature had tons of autos and most are so watered down you can get stars' autos for pennies practically. At least Panini has these on-card.

The deal with those products were that Topps and Upper Deck were trying to get rid of all their inventory since they would no longer be allowed to make NBA cards. And with Panini, I guess they're just awesome haha

yeah haha...i hope they just don't water down players' autograph values. I would like to see some new KD35 autos anytime now, though. I hear that there were supposed to be some in one or two of Panini's last releases, but they were pulled from the checklist?? I guess the fewer the better for KD so it keeps his value up.

Sometime in September, can't remember exactly. Panini has 2 more 09/10 sets to release before Prestige drops.

Thats cool, I like the look for a budget product. This no worse than Topps or Upper Deck's first release of 2008-09, actually better.
I knew there was going to be a time when AUTOs were over saturated by Panini.
One guy said "pretty soon there will be an auto in every pack" well that may happen but not in a budget product like Prestige.
Even if it gets to that point there will still be more rare AUTOs which will sale for insane prices.
Anyway glad to see the new stuff, ready to start on my Wesley Johnson, Greg Monroe, and Gani Lawal collections!

The basic design is the same but there are some differences. For the Turner, the NY Draft isn't as big as before giving the player more room to sign. But that's the whole brand recognition thing. I'd expect it to favor previous year(s). Topps Chrome would look the same if they didn't put circles around the letters
Looks like they also listened to our desires and didn't place the auto over actual photo where it's hardly visible.

Same thing with Mario Chalmers. I guess I would rather have him in an insert set with different variations rather than just one base card.
