Bulls Autos questions

Hi,

I'm currently trying to collect the Bulls autos from the MJ's era. I would like to have the autos from the starting line up and notable bench of the members in tems that won 6 champions. I'm quite new in collecting the auto card so I need some advice.

Now I have Rodman, Kukoc, Harper, Longley, Kerr, Jud Buechler, Cartwright, Paxson and BJ Armstrong.

Not decide yet what MJ and Pippen I should get.

The missing players from my collection that I found their autos on the market is Horace Grant, Bill Wennington, Will Perdue, Scott Burrell and Randy brown

Here are my questions.

1. I think I can get autographics card of the following players: Wennington, Burrell and Brown. I also found some cards with Horace Grant's Wennington's and Perdue's autos. However, how about other players such as Dickey Simpkins, Jason Caffey and etc. in Bulls uniform, I never see their autos. Did you ever find one?

2. For MJ and Pippen, any specific card you will recommend? (In term of price and good-looking.)

3. I think for Randy Brown and Scott Burrell, it has to be autographics only. How about Horace Grant, Wennington and Perdue? Any specific cards you will recommend?

4. I didn't have an individual of Kukoc and Harper(I have seriatim, dual auto of both) Do you think the individual of each is more collectible and more value? (Well, I saw autos of Harper such as autographics, sign of times, chronology go quite high on eBay)

6. What do you think about this Rodman's auto? (Please see my attached file.) The second part of his signature should be "R" but it looks like "d" and this one is a sticker. I bought it because it is quite cheap but right now, I'm not sure whether I should find a higher end card or a better looking auto. Will you recommend me to find a new one?

I guess you can start from lower budget auto first. Then do upgrade from there. Skybox Rodman and Pippen is very expensive, but they are famous. Recent year MJ Auto is not too bad, somewhere around $400 to $450 range. Older stuff can easily break 2k.

Dual auto or triple auto from the same team means more, i think. In the end, you are collecting a team, not individual players. A card with 3+ bulls auto is really nice to keep :)

You should ask whalechaser and Italy61587, they're bigtime bulls collectors on here that should be able to answer your questions.

1. Dickey SImpkins and Caffey have no autos in a Bulls uniform (Sadly no Craig Hodges, Phil Jackson, or Stacey King either). The only auto I have seen of Simpkins is one in his college uni from one of those 90's college companies, and Caffey has an auto of him in a warriors uni in autographics.

2. For MJ and Pippen auto. Just shop around, but make sure it's an on card autograph ( better looking overall and more valuable). Pippen signed stuff for the 90's autographics, and some stuff in 05-06 for Ultimate & Exquisite and for recent Panini products, the cheaper stuff for him goes for around $150. MJ autos you should be able to get one for $350-$400 no problem.

4. I don't like that specific Dual you listed simply because it's a sticker auto. But value wise it seems to be decent since both players don't sign too much and they are popular for those who want to collect 90's Bulls. I think it's neater to have individual cards of all the players, but that's just me.

4. Perdue's only decent auto in a Bulls uni that I've seen comes from the 07-08 Chronology base auto set. You can get a Wennington autographics for relatively cheap if you are patient (the one from the same chronology set is nice too). Horace Grant you have more options, he has some decent autos from 07-08 Premier of him in a Bulls Uni and I think he has some UD Black ones too. All of those are on-card and look nice.

6. Rodman's auto are very inconsistent (I think sometimes he is either being lazy or drunk when he is signing) Anyway, look for older products for nicer autos especially from 04-05, 05-06, and 06-07 Ultimate Signatures, I like all of those autos from him.

The older the better for Bull's auto. I would go for ultmate signatures 03-04 or SP Signatures also from 03 if hunting for a budget Jordan autograph
