What? Chuck chased a ring at the END of his career, not during the prime of it.

Not really, since the Suns TRADED him, Barkley didn't promise anything to Phoenix, Barkley said he wanted out before getting traded, and he was in his final years trying to win a ring.
Might wanna edit that too, mods won't like it, censored or not lol.

ehhh, Chuck did the same thing when he demanded a trade out of Philly. He must have forgotten about that in his old age. He teamed with All-Stars KJ and Dan "Watch me shoot the ball flat-footed from half-court and make it" Majerle. People praise Barkley for being real, but to me he's always been just loud.

He didn't really. At least he was upfront with his trade demands, he didn't promise Philly nothing. He didn't have no hour-long punk special. KJ was aight, Majerle was on no Wade or Bosh level lol. Not sure about the Majerle insult either. I'm not really getting the connection you drew. Barkley may seem loud, it's only because he speaks the truth and what he really thinks, which scares and offends people.

Barkley to suns would be like Lebron going to Bulls. Joining a team and become a leader was what Barkley had. Joining a team with a leader already is what Lebron does today.
And Barkley has to be the go-to guy to win. Lebron doesn't have to be the #1 option anymore.

I'm pointing out that Barkley left to join other All-Stars and to escape controversy in Philly. By the way, those guys were pretty darn good in their primes. They just couldn't get past the Bulls. They did take Chicago to 6 games though.
The Majerle comment was praise, not an insult. Any time he had the ball inside the half court line, we'd yell at the tv for him to shoot it. He could hit the most impossible long range shots. He could also throw down some monster dunks.
Charles demanded a trade out for personal gain. A lot of 6'ers fans felt the same way about him after he left. After his first year with the Suns most people forgot about the controversy. If the Heat are successful, the same will happen to Lebron.

But Jeff Hornacek was part of the trade to Philly. He was a leading scorer in Phx before. But for Cleveland, they got nothing in return, not even Beastly. Barkley needs to replace Jeff Hornacek role (which he did). Lebron doesn't need to replace anyone else role. He just got tag alone with Wade.
