IMO, I would pick somebody who is young and has a great chance at becoming a "Superstar"
Of course Foye has potential but I would choose somebody who has been to an All-Star game or puts up huge numbers for 1-2 years.

PC for me is tough because most people buy and sale so often as a players popularity changes. I would pick somebody who is already well estabilshed so you wont lose money but hopefully gain.

If you could buy some sick Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Rudy Gay, etc RCs now, those card will most likely only rise in value from when you bought them.

Its PC, but still a return on an investment.

if i'm selling my foye in my opinion i can get back a good part back of my funds i've invested in them.
And allready started anthony randolph as a new pc but was thinking of doing howard as well

Anthony Randolph is still a big gamble.
Howard would be a much safer bet, but I think Howard's cards still have alot of room to rise in value as compared to Kevin Durant or Lebron James.

I would recommend Howard, I was going to PC him but decided on Wade once LBJ and Bosh joined him... oh and hes a 6 time All-Star, NBA Finals winner and only 28 years old.
I still PC Deron Williams and will probably start picking up Dwight Howards once I fill up on my Wade's. Pick a couple great players and see what happens

    Hope I helped a little!

I mean it is a PERSONAL collection, so I'd say it doesnt matter who/what team/what set you collect. Just collect your favorite player/team/set. Maybe you won't make much money off of it if you sell it later, but in the end its not likely that you'll make much off of ur PC no matter who you collect.

I used to collect all Kings and Thunder players, til i realized i would rather focus on a couple players and be able to buy as many cards of theirs as possible (including high ends, 1/1s, and all that) but its all about preference.

I would say that its a hobby so you should collect what you like, cuz i don't really think you'll be happy collecting a player just to make a profit of it later.

IMO, I like to collect players other people like to turn a value. Like for instance, I collect Jason Kidd. A sure hall of famer, but I can still get autographs of his without breaking the bank.

So, why the sudden change of heart?
Need money? Did Foye get traded or bumped to NBDL?
Just need a change? Wanting to 'invest' in a more valuable player?
Get outbid on a major addition?

If you're trying to collect a PC player for investment purposes I'd say Howard or Bosh. You can pick up a few of their rc auto's for some decent prices currently.

If you collect just for investment, just collect MJ, Lebron and Kobe.
