Curtis Granderson, Bench Player?
From listening to yesterday's game, i'm hearing Gardner, Swisher & Kearns start and Granderson is the #4 guy? That can't be true?
Its funny, they traded for him and gave up Kennedy, Coke and Jackson, and if they traded Granderson right now, they'd get a low level prospect.Hidden Content

and its strange too because Gardner is really struggling, but his speed is valuable. They though if Granderson could hit 30 in Detroit he'd have no problem hitting 30-40 homeruns in Yankees park

Mark it down as a trade gone bad,it happens sometimes.

Kearns is the better player right now, therefore he is getting more playing time.

Grandy doesn't get the bench simply because of the Wily Mo Pena home-run robbery. Even if that wasn't this season ;)

Granderson has actually been in the lineup every game against Tigers during this four game series and is one of the Yankees hottest hitters right now. He had six hits including two home runs and made a couple amazing plays in the field.

I'm aware
I was just kinda suprised he was even mentioned as the 4th outfielder, after all they gave up a ton to get him, figured they'd put him out there everyday atleast because of the amount it took to get him

What do you mean mentioned as the 4th outfielder? Someone said "Curtis Granderson is the Yankees 4th outfielder"? They do put him out there pretty much everyday.

Yea, FSN Detroit had said of late Curtis was the 4th outfielder, I was just suprised even if wrong, that it would be said.
