Maybe these companies should be truthfull about their collectibles.

There's no doubt about it, companies are trusted to be truthful about their product. This guy is still a pig in my opinion, though. I didn't really read the court statement or anything, but is it not possible that there was some unintentional mistake?

Well I think Topps did make a mistake.. I read some articles on this previously and they stated that extra cards can be accidentally printed etc.. This guy may have gone overboard... but I think one good thing about it is that the card companies now print the numbers on the cards, and they are probably more carefull.

Which kind of guys, the people at Topps, or the kind of guys who use the justice system to pad their own pockets rather than actually pursue justice? This is a small example of a big problem, court is no longer about justice, it's about money and winning.

Actually I'm sure it cost him a lot more than that buying all 159 cards and legal fees. He's not greedy... Topps is. This could have all been settled if Topps would have admitted their mistake and done something to rectify... but they didn't, they said sue us... and that's exactly what the guy did.
