    Predict the next hot card.

Seriously if I was smart at all in this hobby I would have jumped at certain cards, such as the Lebron/Wade/Bosh Trio RC card. That card was likely selling for $1 if that now it is going for auction for $75 or more.

That can be said for a ton of cards. Its the trend with collecting. If everyone knew then the price would never have been $1 to begin with.

Everyone wishes they bought those 86 Fleer boxes that were so cheap, now they are worth a ton

I'm realllllly going to go out on a limb and say J.J. Hickson's exquisite patch/auto RC. I think that kid would've been the Cavs savior in their playoff series against Boston. I just have this feeling he's going to do big things this year for Cleveland...

So true. So true. Which is why a lot of prospecting has the prices all over the place. Just posting in this thread may cause a jump in prices

Honestly there's really no telling what's next and that's the beauty of the hobby. Like all aspects, there's a certain amount of luck involved. The Matrix was a serious exception brought about only because they ended up on the same team. The other Lebron or Wade pairings in that product don't compare.

It is just all about luck, not being smart in the hobby. Who would think of Lebron going to join Wade and Bosh in Miami?
