    Marlins/Nationals Brawl...

Morgan had been hit earlier in the game apparantly, big time suspensions coming, one for the punch thrown, second for the closeline, and third for Volstad sucker punching Morgan on the ground.

wow that was brutal, that guy is going crazy, hitting a fan with a baseball, although I'm not sure if that was an accident, that crazy bumping into the catcher, and the full on plow into the marlins catcher, and now this

Nyjer deserved the beatdown he took, nice hit by the first basemen,I'm sure some nfl team could use a guy that hits like that.

Disagree completely...What did he do that was a 'punk' move. He dropped his bat and charged the mound, its not like he took his bat or helmet and attacked Volstad with it. Should he have charged the mound? I can't answer that, but he did it the 'right' way if there is one.

He Knew they were goin to throw it at him!! I mean look what he did to their catcher. he had it comin so he should have taken it like a man and just got back in the box and sucked it up. its not like the ball hit him. look at his past. its stated on the comment below mine. he is a huge punk and always has been.

This!!! I mean watch what he has done over the past two series, plus the fact that he was even sat a game BECAUSE they were expecting something like this to happen! Clearly the infield knew what was coming as they were all on him in half a second. What a jerk

Which punk move do you need to see Dan? Did you see the non-play at the plate from Saturday's game that Morgan turned into a controversial play? The catcher wasn't even receiving the ball to make a play and Morgan ran into the catcher.

    Watch this video: http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=11458309

I personally, had no problem with the two steals, but I think the two plays at home were unacceptable. I think Harold Reynolds nailed it...yeah, he made some controversial moves within the game...maybe they were acceptable maybe they were not, but the way he left the field made everything clear...the guy's a complete jerk. The great thing about baseball is that there is no other team sport (that I know of) where playing with respect and integrity is so important. Nyger Morgan clearly has no respect for the game and zero integrity both on and off the field...period.

Had this been an isolated incident, nobody would have said much since a few brawls happen every year. But Nyjer Morgan is now into a complete trend of causing trouble: throwing the ball at the fan, needlessly plowing the catcher and now starting a brawl after a pitch that didn't even hit him.

It's a sign of complete immaturity and another distraction for a team that can't get out of the cellar. I have to think that with Morgan's pending suspension already out there, MLB will soon come down very hard on him.
