    KSA grading...

im just wondering if anyone has used KSA's grading service before. im aware they only grade cards up to 75pt . so i think i want to get a handfull of my dougies graded.. they also offer a RAW grade service where they dont grade the card . but they slab it and label it. i want to get that done to a few of my nicer commons. the rep from southern ontario happens to be about 20km away from me and is willing to meet up at tim hortons to exchange cards/cash and save the time of transit in the mail.. just wondering what kind of experiences people have had with KSA...psa and bccg just seem way to expensive for an avid collector like myself

Personnally, i would NEVER send card to KSA. Send your cards to BGS or PSA. BGS is cheaper, & give you a great resale value, & a professsional result/protection.

The reason I lost confiance in KSA is simple. They grade altered/trimmed cards (i have scanned proofs) & the resale value is about ½-1 grades under PSA or BGS. I also have an unprofessionnal response from their customer services.

So why pay more with KSA for less recognition?

Nothing wrong with KSA, Nobody knows OPC from 1933-1988 like KSA. They grade every bit as tough as Beckett.

Just because Americans don't know who they are does not mean that they aren't good. PSA and others are a joke, They grade bashed in cards as 7's and 8's, they haven't a clue.

I haven't tried KSA personally. I stick with BGS. I have, however, bought a Crosby KSA 9 and I'm confident that it will yield a BGS 9 just the same. Does your rep do the grading? OR does he just operate like some sort of a drop-off centre?

i believe he grades the cards himself too. though im not positive . thats another good question to ask him when i talk to him next. i think im going to try him out with a few lower end jersey cards, he said he cant do anything bigger then 75pt rite now but they are working on having a 150pt holder ready towards the end of this year.

If you can find out and let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it. Depending on distance, I may try him out. Please keep me posted. Thanks.

KSA destroyed 2 ICE auto jerseys (Gretzky & Broduer) of one of our customers at the Chatham show a couple years back.

We raised it with them and were told to mind our own business... which we now do.

We are KSA free! No KSA cards move through our place.

If you are going to spend your $$$, utilize a company that delivers a return on your investment. PSA is our first chose.
