It's kinda hard to put a price on that, but that definatly had to be the best possible Donique Wilkins card collection possible. After all every card I saw was a 1/1 and there are about 100 that I got through. So Id have to say if the right person came along that liked Dominique, that is is worth the price, and yeah its unique, or Dom-unique, haha.

It is hard to sell that big of collection out at that price. Even for Dominique fans, they already start collect good amount already. It is not likely anyone will buy this at full price.

As far as i know, there's only 1 hardcore Dominique collector out there, and that's the seller in this auction. If this lot was put in a regular auction, he might get $3,000-$5,000 if he's lucky. But realistically, I just don't see anybody spending that kind of money all at once on Dominique Wilkins cards. He'll definitely get a lot more money though if he sells the really rare cards individually.

Agree with Jeebus. It's a shame he's selling it, though. I had to remove him from the Supercollector program when I saw the link. I remember the picture he had of the Dominique room with all of the cards, figurines, posters, and other memorabilia in it. It was truly a shrine.

So that there isn't a misunderstanding, he clearly states he's selling it in the auction title. I see no ambiguity, nor any reference to showing off the collection. From the auction description:

You will be receiving all of the cards pictured below. Most all of the best cards have been pictured already-- the rest can be found here: http://www.callmefairf.com/basketbal..._Checklist.htm. Total count of uNique cards is around 1500+. Please forgive any dust specks... here are the scans -- click on the image for a higher resolution image. Every card scanned below comes in a brand new screw down that has been covered with a team bag.

Obviously the ebay listing would be taken down if he said "These cards are not for sale I am just showing them off"

Tons of people showing off in ebay with no intension for sale. And tons of people just to put in ebay to "boardcast" to get more audience.

This is not the first time he lists in ebay. And he is not the only one who lists PC stuff in ebay. And he always sells away the same nique cards for better "jersey number" or "condition" nique cards.

$5000 if he is lucky in an auction? There are 1500 cards in that lot, that averages out to $3.33/card, pretty sure I saw 80+ 1/1 cards that were superfractors/plates/autos, I think 5k would be a steal for that lot, I think 36k is much to high though. Or am I way off base here?
