Mail Slow

Well, I brought this topic up last night in the live chat...but I thought I would share it to the rest of you. Today, I did not receive any mail, and am getting very concerned.

I have had 7-8 packages incoming both from canada and the United States, but none have arrived yet

1 package from Ontario have been out there for 2 weeks now, and another has been out in the mail for the last 7-8 days.

Plus a couple from the US that have been out in the mail for the last month or 2.

Has mail been slow lately?

And yes, I know that I have to be patient, but I am now getting very worried.


Any thoughts? Should I be concerned?

I wouldn't be concerned per se.. but I have noticed an increase in the amount of SLOW mail lately! Some packages seem to come through (or reach their destination when I send) just fine.. but there are a few that have been over a month!!

I'v only had one package come in, delayed. But Im worried because nearly all of my packages are delayed.

Im still waiting on one from may (fingers crossed) and one from about 6 weeks ago. Both are coming from the US.

there was a federal holiday last week here in the US (labor day) that always backs the mail system up by a day or two unfortunately

Yeah, I noticed things are going pretty slowly too. I'm not very impressed.

man.. dont get me started on Canada post.. ive lived here for 12 months now and have recieved the mail from 2 houses down three times now. my mail used to get delivered by a lady in a canada post uniform.. now it comes from some guy who looks like he just woke up in last night clothes.. i also used to get it around noon.. now i get it anywhere between 4pm and 5pm.. and i work nights.. so im done at 8am. i come home and wait for my mail goodies.. well lately ive had it up to here with them delivering my mail at 4pm .. for the money those people make.. our mail should all be delivered around 12-1.. thanks to the union im sure canada post can do nothing about these lazy mailmen/women
