New SCF Cardinals Fan
As you can tell by the name, I'm a Cardinals fan. I usually don't do "intro" posts, but since I can't see any signature images until I hit 10 posts, I'm doing one this time.
I'm still pretty new to collecting (only been at it for a year now), but if I had to describe my collecting habits up to this point, I'd say I'm mainly a team collector/set builder.
There's obviously a lot to do on this forum (inventory manager, trade manager, etc., etc.) so it looks like it's going to take a little time to get used to all of it. But this looks like a great site for me.
By the way, for those of you who can see my signature (because with only 2 posts at this point, I can't yet) feel free to check out my blog (as if there wasn't enough of those around already).
Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your community, and I'm looking forward to becoming a regular contributor to the forum.

Howdy Randy and welcome to SCF.
Please be sure and look over our new member rules when you get a chance. Our inventory manager is a fairly new feature, but it already has had a lot of activity with tons of people adding cards to their collections.
If you need any assistance getting around the site you can contact me or another staff member and we'll help you out.

Thanks for the link to the rules. As Jeremy_Falcons can tell you, I've already had an issue with the banner image in my signature (I had an image that was too big).
My first impression on the forum is that it's well monitored. It didn't take long for a mod to point me in the right direction when I had a non-compliant banner. And that's a good thing, because that means that you guys are going to catch the posts that shouldn't be on a family-oriented forum very quickly.
Well...I'm on my way to hitting the 10 post probation phase. Wish me luck!

26,515 posts????
Let's do some math...
You joined Jan 2004, so you've been a member for 6 years 9 months.
52 weeks in a year X 6 years = 312 weeks plus 37 weeks so far in 2010 comes to a total of 349 weeks that you've been a member of SCF.
26,515 posts divided by 349 weeks = approximately 76 posts per week or a little over 10 posts per day for the past 6 years & 9 months.
I have one word for you...
WOW!!!!!
...and the scary thing is, I'm sure you don't have the highest number pf posts on this forum.
LOL
Thanks for welcoming me into the SCF family! I hope to pick up a few tips and tricks from the veterans like yourself.

No problem! I'm sorry I didn't read the rules before I went and put that image up on my signature.
I'm a member on another forum that is much smaller and since there's not as many members, the rules are much more relaxed about images and their sizes.
But thanks for being kind and not making me feel like an idiot for not knowing the size limit on the sig banner. :)

Well, since I'm trying to get to 10 posts as quickly as possible, I might as well reply to anyone who welcomes me to the forum.
Oxxon...I'm racking my brain trying to figure out where you got that name. Is this one of those random things where you just fell asleep at your computer while you were registering for SCF and your head hit the keyboard and PRESTO!!! your new username ended up being Oxxon?
Just kidding...but I am interested in the name. Let me know if you get a chance.
Thanks for welcoming me to the SCF family.
