As with Wolvescry I too have had my fair share of Whales get away from me by the hair on my chin. When you are already paying a couple hundred for something, what is another few dollars on top of that. You have to draw a line somewhere, but if it is something that you really need/want I would offer whatever you feel it will take to put it in your collection. On more than one occasion I have been left with a significant feeling of regret after letting a Federko item slip through my fingers.

hey everyone, thanks for advice. just to give an update if anyone wanted to know, let's just say i'm still working on it, directly/indirectly, but it's not easy obviously. if you want details on my newb experience with trying to obtain 1/1, feel free to pm me. I'm always open to feedback.

Mats - I remember reading a thread saying you were after the kulemin opcp 1/1. how was that working out? i'm curious with your experience with that.

The ebay seller still has it listed for $500 BIN with no option to make a best offer. Could offer maybe $300 which is quite high and more than fair based on the feedback I received. If the seller isn't going to have a OBO feature though not much point in making an offer via PM to the seller. I will live without it and not let it bother me that I don't have that card. If the seller really wanted to sell it he would have already but he wants way more than anybody would spend on it so he still has it.

too bad. it's a crazy looking card. this would be bad but the only way you can get it is if kulemin does poorly at the beginning of the season and the seller needs to put it on sale. of course the opposite could happen and the perceived value goes up...

btw i still have not heard back... i don't think it's happening..... I'll just wait it out and see...
